Architectural Joinery - Sliding, Bi-fold, Hinged, French, Awning, Casement Windows and Doors

106mm and 158mm Architectural Series.

Aluminium City Group are specialist manufacturers of the “Architectural Series” range of joinery solutions. Aluminium City staff worked alongside APL to develop a series of high performance and aesthetically pleasing windows and doors. Architects, construction companies and home-owners have found this product ideal architecturally designed houses and high-rise apartments.

The designs reflect the contemporary preference for clean flush surfaces and square shapes. The Box Shaped window frame resembles a deluxe commercial shopfront system with the benefit of being designed for use in applications up to 3.4 Kpa ULS in Specific Design situations.

Aesthetics

-Strong, straight, smooth lines with a tidy fresh looking finish.

-The uniform design of the Architectural Series allows continuous flow between internal and external lines.

-Flush surfaces eliminate a jagged, uneven looking finish.

-The provision of matching windows and doors creates visual continuity throughout the inside and outside of the property.

-Creates the illusion of space.

-Provides the ability to maximise small spaces and to create indoor/outdoor flow.

-Gives consistency and visual flow throughout the interior and exterior of the property.

Innovations

-All window and door products have been designed with a strength and versatility to allow the choice of large formats and sizes even in exposed locations.

- Sliding doors can be designed to slide over walls or retract into cavities. Specially designed door stiles also mean they can meet at corners without the need for a corner post.

-Bi-fold doors have a unique bottom roller system that ensures smooth operation and eliminates panels rubbing against the frame when they pivot open.

Performance

-With strength and size key factors in the Architectural Series, the freedom to realise bold visions is now possible.

-Doors can be made to suit full height glass designs in most locations.

-Windows and doors are designed to meet the tough performance criteria for strength and weatherproofing demanded by 'specific design' building environments.

- All products tested to 2.2kPa serviceability and 3.4kPa Ultimate wind pressures.
