40mm Suite- An extremely versatile Window Suite with a 40mm Glazing Platform, enabling the system to be used in High Rise Applications.
- This Suite contains the following functions;
- Equal Leg or Facing Frame, with or without Jamb Liners
- Awning, Casement, Hopper or Pivot sashes
- Internal Box Mullions for Greater Wind Loads
- Able to sit within a seismic System
- A standard Shopfront Suite for ground floor locations, - to a maximum of 6m High.
- This Suite contains the following functions;
- Can incorporate opening sashes from the 40mm Window Series using an inserted sash adapter.
- Compatible with Magnum Commercial Panels, both Hinged and Sliding.
- Incorporates Individually Drained Transoms.
- Can accept Double Glazing and sits within a Seismic System where required.
- A Frontline Glazing System, reducing the visual effect of aluminium from the outside.
- Provision can be made for seismic and thermal movement.
- Internally drained which allows this system to be used with confidence in High Rise Applications.
- Incorporates Double Glazing and Opening Sashes where required.
For some projects we are asked to provide a solution that does not fit neatly into any of the above Suites.
In these instances, we have the ability to cut new dies and test the profiles to requirements in the APL Test Booth.
This was done in the ‘Empire Apartments’ Project where we altered the 40mm Chair Suite to resolve issues surrounding the Installation Requirements.
